The Said Na’um Waqaf Foundation is the waqf of Sheikh Said Bin Salim Na’um as stated in decree no. 17 of the Governor General of the Dutch East Indies on 21 April 1844 in Batavia (Jakarta).

To continue the good intentions of the waqf giver (namely the late sheik said bin salim na’um), the management took policy steps by giving the name of the said na’um waqaf foundation on November 19, 1975, by deed no. 83 notary H. Zawir simon SH by focusing on education, social and da’wah. In 1977 the Said Na’um Islamic school was established from the elementary, middle and high school levels and was supported by mosque facilities.

In carrying out its activities, the waqaf said na’um foundation seeks to fulfill the objectives of the foundation in the religious field such as establishing and helping places of worship both mosques and prayer rooms, social fields such as providing education and in the humanitarian field such as providing assistance to the poor, disaster victims and others .
